Hello everyone! Can you believe it's August already!? Where is 2010 going!
So I felt today would be a good day to do a post with a couple reviews of products. I felt this would be a good idea as I have a lot of people ask me what products I use on my sets. This would be a good place for other people who have interests in make-up, hair, skin care or other things used on set to get an idea of what I use and what I find works well.
ALSO If you HAVE any requests or questions or anything feel free to send me an email and I would be more than happy to answer your questions!
HERE WE GO!

The first product is one of my favorite things on the planet. It's
Lush's Ultra Bland. I use these stuff like a fiend. Ultra Bland is a facial clenser that is made with peanut oil (so if you have nut allergies this isn't a good product for you) but if you don't, this will be your best friend in the whole world. Lush makes it's products with all natural ingreediants, and in this one you will find rose, beeswax and honey that while cleaning, sooth and moisturize the skin.
The reason I love this product so much is that it is the BEST Make-up remover I have EVER used. Period. I wear make-up everyday, and this stuff will take it all off, even hard to get after mascaras and fluid liners. Just massage in with your finger (only a small amout will do the trick, it IS oily so you make sure you wash it off really well with warm water afterward) and with circular motions rub around the areas you are trying to clean off. It is super gentle that it wont irritate even if you get it in your eye, (which I do a lot)
I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who wears a lot of make-up or who uses it on a daily basis.

My second choice for a review are the colour pallets by a company called Wales. I have probably 5 or 6 different versions of these ranging from multi-colours, to nudes and blushes.
These are some of the best eye shadows I've used in all my years of experimenting with bright coloured eye lids. They are very bright and want to stick to your skin and I find they have a really good upkeep through the day or the night.
These colours react BEST if you have foundation or a primer on your eyelid before application. This will also help with keeping it from creasing through the day. I find the colours with a bit of a shimmer to them work BEST, and want to come off onto the brushes easy where as colours with a matte finish take a bit more work to come off but will. You CAN use a bit of water for a thick liner finish but do with caution, if you soak the pot you will damage your colour, so try using a small brush around the edges if you use that method.
The nude pallet is my favorite for everyday wear, lots of choices of browns and nudes for a soft clean look with a liner, also works well as an eyebrow filler too!
That's all for me today folks! Check back soon for more updates, shoots and reviews!
