This is from my second shoot with the lovely Cyndi Gordon!

She makes me all pretty like! Haha. She was inspired by the controversial photos from the Miss USA Pageant, which were all about raw sexy women. I also think this was the first shoot I did with my new hair. Soo.. double score on that.

Madison came along to add some blonde extensions in and make my hair super full and sexy for this shoot. Thanks Doll!

Here was the first shoot I did with the lovely Cyndi!

She even curled my stubborn hair! :D She wanted to do some dark work in the woods, in the snow no less! We didn't get the "dark" feel we were looking for initially but we defiantly got some good shots that we were both happy with!

Shooting in the snow is one thing that I actually love to do, and don't really feel that I do enough. I know it seems a little crazy to be outside in the cold like that, but there is something so rewarding about going that extra mile to get the cool shoot, be it in the snow, on some abandoned lot, in a swamp (Erin ;) ) or anywhere that makes the shoot that much more interesting. This is one thing that I took pride in working as a model, that willingness to jump into something gross. :D

Here are a few images from a short session with the lovely Billie Chaisson!

One thing I love about working with Billie, is that she captures such a natural image. Everything is delicate and dainty and pure. Also one of the first times I've done a photoshoot that my hair wasn't style or straightened! Oh yes! I have a wavy mop!

Last summer with having a large amount of time off before the wedding, I managed to squeeze a few shoot dates in there with some people I never had the chance to work with before.

Jenna is a fantastic girl, who like myself, started working as a model before picking up a camera herself and falling in love with the art of photography!

This is a pretty simple set for me. Pretty natural make-up and hair and styling. Not my usual, but now and then is a good practice to be simple hehe.

Here is another flash from the past!

Brent is one of my favorite people, and photographers! He blossomed out of the blue and took over the fashion and designer scene in our home town, and really couldn't have had a better, or more creative person for the job. Brent always has fantastic concepts, lighting, and photoshop skills to make incredible, and very memorable photographs!

Hopefully he will find some time in the near future to stop traveling and work with some silly local models again ;)

Gotta love some oldies but goodies!

Erin is one of those photographers, who can really make anyone look good! She has the natural skill and talent to not only shoot the model, but pose them and make them look their best in every photograph!

This is a simple set we did one day. She was wanting to practice some more portrait-esq shots so we went on a little adventure finding pretty coloured houses to shoot on!

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my little spot on the web! It will be a little bit before I have some posts on here. I want to have a few updates written up and ready to post before I throw some major stuff on here so be patient while I find some time to round up some old photos and sessions for you all!

So just wanted to say hello, and leave you all with a few random FACTS about Ka

1: I have a fly in my ear..

2: I drive a motorcycle, and sometimes I forget and while I'm riding I think.. "OMG Im Driving a Bike!!"

3: I have 4 snakes and 2 lizards, and I hug them and kiss them and call them my babies!

4: I haven't seen my natural hair colour since I was 12

5: I am a married woman and love every minute of it!
